The Torfaen Children, Young People and Families Forum has a network of over 175 voluntary and community groups who support children, young people and families aged 0-19 years.
The forum provides the opportunity for voluntary sector and community organisations to network, access information and have representation into key partnerships and subgroups in the Children and Young Peoples Partnerships. The forum elects voluntary sector representatives to attend appropriate partnership meetings. Their role is to ensure that the voluntary sectors views and concerns are included in future planning.
The Torfaen Children, Young People and Families Forum meets quarterly and all network members are invited. The forum agenda includes feed back from partnership sub groups, presentations, speakers, information regarding training, funding and events. The forum members also receive a quarterly newsletter and briefing papers.
Membership to the Children, Young People and Families Forum is open to all voluntary and community groups in Torfaen. Membership is free
